I'd say movie remasters are less inherently awful than video game ones, because that intended cinema experience is something home formats struggled to capture for years, so you weren't getting a very authentic experience. Games are just games, they released like that, you aren't restoring anything.

I've been thinking about game remasters an absurd amount recently, because I really do not like them. I don't know if I'll make a video about it, while different it is a bit too similar to my previous videos on remakes. Though I could definitely do something new with it, I'll think about it.

It's far more tragic than that, because you are right, countless extremely talented artists work and create the games on there. But it is quite unlike bathroom graffiti, bathroom graffiti is cool for being a kind of raw, anonymous expression. Roblox games are filtered heavily through capitalism.

I'm so glad someone asked what if gmod was shit and monetised to hell and back and somehow had 10s of millions of players, wouldn't that be cool! Also they want to add dating and gambling oh and they want to use AI to scan kids' faces. Cool. Normal platform.
