A van driver who failed to give way and collided with a cyclist was sent on a driver improvement scheme — a decision that left the cyclist disappointed with police action.

Great story and so very glad the bike was retrieved in dramatic fashion.
But.
It shows that the police do nothing regarding stolen bikes. Natta.
In the good ole days they used to hang horse thieves.
There should be special punishment for stealing a bike.
