Parents of HSN kids. Most level 2/3 adults also have issues with the prescriptive policing of language that neurodiversity advocates engage in, which Fidgets and fries wrote a nice piece about recently

So blame the “autism moms” all you want, but other ppl also have issues with the nd

Most (but not all) neurodiversity advocates engage in is effective.

The neurodiversity movements rigid adherence to the social model of disability and antipsych aligned “drop the disorder” ideology, and outright denial that level 3 / severe autism exists is a huge issue - and not just for

And that’s likely why some parents (not FF) of hsn kids (and who are caretakers for hsn adults) are up in arms and now advocating for “profound autism”

Kids - who are also autistic, like fidgets and fries, for example - don’t really engage with the neurodiversity community.

I wasn’t referring to you specifically, there are a lot of nd advocates online. Like Alejandra Caraballo, who just asserted “parents CLAIM” their kids can’t communicate.

Many HSN adults can’t even communicate, so idk what she is trying to assert but ppl like that are a big reason parents of HSN

Level 2/3 mod-high support needs autism.

It’s bc aspies and level 1 “neurodiversity advocates” are denying that level 3 autism exists and that it’s a serious disorder

I’m not against acceptance, but I (and most level 2/3 adults)will pushback against misinformation, erasure, and denialism that most nd advocates promote with respect to

issues inherent to level 3/HSN autism

HSN kids die from being unable to communicate with their parents. As you would know if you worked with or had a level 3/hsn child or worked with HSN adults.
November 25, 2025 at 2:55 PM
Why wouldn’t we want to focus on level 3 kids?

They’re the ones dying from things like swallowing nails bc they can’t communicate with their parents

Since #actuallyaspies say “we don’t need treatment, autism is just an identity” - why would medical researchers focus on yall? You’re perfect! 🤣
November 25, 2025 at 2:15 PM
Some autistic adults want that research too.

If you don’t, sorry, but the world doesn’t revolve around you aspies.
November 25, 2025 at 2:02 PM
Your rhetoric is also harmful to those of us with level 2/3 mod/high support needs

Attempting to erase the actual
Communication issues we have due to autism is harmful. It’s also a flat out lie that level 2/3 don’t have significant communication challenges (including being unable to communicate)
November 25, 2025 at 2:01 PM
How do you know their parents are not autistic? You don’t.

Most parents of HSN kids don’t go online and share all their private health info like you chronically online millennials. And many don’t have the $$ or the time to get assessed themselves.

Doesn’t mean they’re “allistic” 🙄
