A mixed day of contrasts. Like it being the first day of summer here, and it barely getting warmer than 17°C. (It gets much warmer on Friday). Chris and I went for a walk in the park, that was lovely, and one of our first two-day streaks (gotta celebrate even small wins).

A quiet day at home today. Mostly resting, and thinking. It was gusty most of the day and only 19°C. I posted an updated version of a guide that I wrote for trans allies. I had been frustrated that bigoted terminology was being used even by people who mean well.

Slow recovery. A sunny but gusty 24°C day at home. Good part : housemates mostly kept to themselves. So I did get a chance to compose myself and step outside. I am autistic and this one short ritual matters to me.

He did it again. The housemate that likes to have his own little bogan party of one, with his charcoal bbq and shite country music radio. He does it outside, but near the house. I was very triggered at having my agency ignored.

Things went well today. Chris’ social support guy is coming tomorrow instead of today. We did our grocery shopping in a fairly peaceful manner, it was a pleasant 23°C day, although still very windy.

Took this photo rushing to my psychologist appointment. Today’s shortcut to stay on-time was not even doing my hair at all. 😂 We had a thunderstorm roll over us fairly quickly, then the sun was back, and strong winds. I can see why there is a fire warning.

Windy and hot today : 29°C and a wind warning. The wind dropped at sunset and it became a lot less pleasant. We also have a fire warning from midnight tomorrow night into Thursday.

It was 23°C and humid today. I get really bothered by it, and self-admittedly cranky. I did wake up around 1pm … that wasn’t expected. I probably needed it. We went to town to get some meds for Chris and then grabbed some clothes at BigW.

Back to a more Spring-like 26°C today. The weather predictions change a lot even within the same day at the moment. We had rain last night, but not the thunderstorms predicted earlier.

Today is four years since my mum died. I spent most of the day reflecting on loss, especially in the past four years, and was overwhelmed with it all. I’ve begun pulling out of it, because I have to, I just can’t function and survive otherwise.

Basil … BASIL! Well, I feel like I’m stuck in a Fawlty Towers reality. We got up early today, because on Tuesday afternoon the Landlord texted us that ‘Pest Control’ was coming. The only ‘pest’ is the possum.

Today is Transgender Day of Remembrance. (I got mixed up yesterday). The focus is on those who have been killed. There are far too many where their identity as a trans person was a major part of why someone decided that they deserved to be killed.

The predicted thunderstorms decided tomorrow would be better. A really pleasant 27°C day. We ate out for dinner, we rescheduled the grocery shop last week for Chris’ birthday celebration,

The TERF lie ‘women fought for their own spaces’ shown here as the opposite.

Women fought to be included in the same spaces as men.

They were already segregated prior to this.

A lovely light breeze and 24°C sunny Spring day here today. I took Chris to his appointment with his One Door support person. I’d actually asked him to set it up. He needs a Financial Counsellor.

A sunny but very windy 18°C here today, so we stayed indoors. The annoying housemate has made himself very scarce, either out most of the time, or not even in the kitchen.

Today was relatively peaceful. Lovely 25°C weather, with a wind that took the edge off the heat. The housemate we had the run-in with was out much day as best as I can tell. Certainly not around at dinner time. Whatever the reason, it was more peaceful.

This account just unfollowed me. I returned the favour.

Not feeling too great here in the photo. I just lost my cool and yelled at a grown man. He visibly jumped, clearly not expecting full teacher voice at close quarters. Chris was with me, he spoke first, but the guy seemed to not comprehend.

The week started with the doctor telling me to exercise. Today my bestie came around and we went walking with her after a short drive to a lake.

Very warm today, it was up to 30°C on the highway, although more like 24 to 26°C most places we were. We had lunch out with Chris’ mum to celebrate his birthday, then afternoon tea at her place.

We had a good day today, lovely Spring weather (18°C) and we moved our grocery shopping to today because we’re out tomorrow. Why? It’s Chris’ birthday tomorrow - so old at 52!
