Having now finished watching every film on the Video Nasties DPP List for my podcast (final episode for this season coming soon!), I can safely say it’s a mixed bag that goes from Possession, one of the greatest films I’ve ever seen to Devil Hunter, maube THE worst film I’ve ever seen boxd.it/bp9V6

I don’t think we talk enough about how unbelievably hot Tony Leung Chiu-wai is in In the Mood for Love – he’s always very attractive in everything he’s in, but in this film, he’s potentially one of the top five sexiest men in any film ever made.

Third and final film at the cinema today was a first time watch of Wong Kar-Wai’s flawless masterpiece, In the Mood for Love and I am so sad that I didn’t watch it sooner. Heartwarming, heartbreaking and effortlessly cool and dreamy, I adore this perfect film. boxd.it/bXXUwp

Second film on today’s cinema catchup was Blue Moon, a film that, despite being too long, repetitive and self indulgent, manages to provide an effective look at sadness and loneliness created through alcoholism and mental health struggles. I liked this a lot, I just wish I loved it! boxd.it/bXQFTz

Had a cinema catchup day today that started with Zootopia 2, a sequel to a film that I love but also a sequel that managed to outdo its predecessor. It made me laugh, made me cry and it even referenced The Silence of the Lambs and The Shining, there’s so much to love about this film! boxd.it/bXMwpd
