This game has really given us the whole Pitt experience. Outstanding plays and players. Tons of dumb penalties and sloppiness. Absolutely head scratching coaching decisions.

If Cruz wins this thing, you better believe I'm celebrating like it's something super important. The Pirates haven't even won a playoff series since the Carter administration so I'm taking every win I can possibly get.

Still blows my mind that Luna wasn’t selected for the Olympic team in 24. Anybody who watched him play for the U-20s could see he was the most skilled and creative guy on the roster.

The Pirates were my first love in terms of sports teams growing up and I’ll never stop rooting for them to some extent. That being said, I can’t argue in good faith that this organization doesn’t deserve this season to be an absolute disaster all things considered.

Mike Lange was the voice of my childhood in many ways. I can’t think of another broadcaster whose voice and iconic calls are so intertwined with the greatest moments in franchise history. They’ll be etched in my brain forever. It’s a sad day for Pittsburgh sports and hockey in general.

I should get an award for attending this game all things considered. Then again I went to all of the Stallings year two games so it turns out I’m just a huge loser.

Not gonna lie the frisbee dogs at halftime have been the unquestioned highlight of the evening. They’re about five times more organized than Pitt’s offense.

I’ve held off for a pretty long time because I’m not a knee-jerk reaction person but it’s time to move on from Jeff Capel. He’s completely mishandled this group and to win at Pitt, you need to be able to do more with less. Pitt won that way for years.

I’ve been around basketball for a long time and I don’t think I have been more confused about what a team was trying to do offensively than I am with this year’s Pitt team. I’m honestly at a total loss.

Credit where credit is due - the adjustment finally came with a smaller lineup and a lot more switching which was what I wanted last week.

I’ve been around volleyball for most of my life and I’ve not seen many players as consistently dominant as Olivia Babcock. What an incredible athlete.

This team has a chance to be pretty darn good. Love the balance and the ability to win with subpar games. Will need to establish a little more depth - hopefully can work in another shooter like Jorge or Amsal. This is a nice win though. #H2P
