It’s scrappy at times and we’re giving the ball away carelessly (but so are OM), which is probably what’s triggering people. I’d feel much more relaxed if we got a 2nd.

We’re almost in complete agreement. Why does your mate think that it doesn’t exist? It does seem to be a little-used name now but if we went back 100+ years I think it’d be more prominent.

Some maps show the Avenues as Shipcote but no-one who lives there acknowledges that. Shipcote is a buffer that separates Bensham from Low Fell.

Having grown up in Bensham, my view is that these are the 4 corners. 1. St Albans Ter & Alexander Rd junction. 2. Avenue Rd /Saltwell View juntction. 3. Inskip Ter and Old Durham Rd junction. 4. South St School. I’d also include the terraces of Camborne Grove.

Burn will want regular starts to boost his own World Cup chances too. It’s a tough call but I’d be inclined to go with Botman as he works well with Thiaw and his relative youth.
