I expect us to lose every time we score first away from home. It’s like the oppo are saying “go on then, have a head start. We’ll still beat you ‘cos you’re shit away from home.”.

It’s scrappy at times and we’re giving the ball away carelessly (but so are OM), which is probably what’s triggering people. I’d feel much more relaxed if we got a 2nd.

If he has time to think about things he always fucks it up.

MNF always feels like after the Lord Mayor’s Show. I bet its viewing numbers are shite. And yeah, Carragher slavering on.

I think that’s a decent comparison 👍

We’re almost in complete agreement. Why does your mate think that it doesn’t exist? It does seem to be a little-used name now but if we went back 100+ years I think it’d be more prominent.

Some maps show the Avenues as Shipcote but no-one who lives there acknowledges that. Shipcote is a buffer that separates Bensham from Low Fell.
November 22, 2025 at 11:25 AM
Having grown up in Bensham, my view is that these are the 4 corners. 1. St Albans Ter & Alexander Rd junction. 2. Avenue Rd /Saltwell View juntction. 3. Inskip Ter and Old Durham Rd junction. 4. South St School. I’d also include the terraces of Camborne Grove.

They’re humouring the morons when they say that. In my estimation >50% of the British public is thick as fuck when it comes to politics or areas outside of thier immediate interests.

A hot wash with extra bleach.

Because they have the ability to adapt their style of play to the match situation. Unlike Bazball which is mindless twitch-based cricket. 5-0 incoming. Lots of pissed-off Barmy Army.

What a brilliant view to wake up to!

Looks like a cake that you might expect to see at a rich child’s birthday party. Truly awful

Ramsey was caught out of position often today. He was poor (along with everyone else apart from Thiaw).
November 9, 2025 at 4:46 PM
Poor description. It was a good tackle by Thiaw which Botman failed to mop-up.
November 9, 2025 at 4:03 PM
Yeah, Burn is a talisman for us right now. He’ll never have to buy himself a pint ever again in this neck of the woods !
November 7, 2025 at 6:24 PM
Burn will want regular starts to boost his own World Cup chances too. It’s a tough call but I’d be inclined to go with Botman as he works well with Thiaw and his relative youth.

Glendinning couldn’t resist a little dig at Newcastle. One of life’s constants!
November 7, 2025 at 11:19 AM
I think you’re being negative
November 5, 2025 at 10:51 PM
I initially thought he went too early with the subs but in the end he got it perfectly.
November 5, 2025 at 10:42 PM
Thiaw’s composure on the ball and the timing of his tackles are immense. He looks a snip at £35m.
November 5, 2025 at 10:38 PM
Same here. I remember them from 1994 and they were mint then too. Not a peck of trouble.

Amazon Music is only £13 per month. Just as good and it works with Alexa.
