i just reviewed 50+ applications for an arts award and most of them were written by chatgpt. And then the other reviewers said they put them into Gemini to rank them. At a certain point, if everyone is giving their thinking entirely over to AI, why are we even bothering with any of this anymore?

I hope journalists realize how much of their engagement is AI bots, rage-bait reply guys, & foreign accounts … all of them hustling for fractions of a cent from Elmo’s engagement racket. It’s warped the whole ecosystem. People who report & comment on the news are stuck swimming in the same sludge
If Republicans weren't the most gullible people in the world, there wouldn't be so many fake conservative accounts from out of country tricking them constantly
