I do appreciate people saying kind things. But when I say, "What's the point?" I mean the fun of a parody, of one thing in the style of another, is the time and effort squandered on the details of something absurd. Without the effort, it's not absurd, it's just pointless.
The ai-generated action figure trend depresses me. I made this ages ago for a throwaway joke. And it took time, and I had to study knock-off toys and what made them so perfectly wrong. I love imitating art styles and learning how things were made, but these days I think - what's the point?
