I work w/ someone who's developed some memory & retention issues since their Cov19 infections a cpl years ago. I doubt they are even aware of it at all, or that anyone else has noticed. They're a mentee and they've forgotten realllllly basic/fundamental stuff I taught them years ago. Only 32 yrs old

But I also think ppl are largely like "ehh" to anything happening that's not in their own backyard. "DC is those Other People Way Over There, not me. Probably just some overpaid lazy fed workers anyway" etc

I love how even the smart analysts I work with conveniently forget that *unrelenting economic pressure from private industry* was the driving force behind 2022's Urgency of Normal to drop masks, end telework, & whitewash the neverending "cold/flu season" & "wow another 40yo just had a heart attack"
