I'm not one for the online petition thing, but I think 'Question Time and BBC News output should include party political commentary and guests in proportion to the seats they have in Parliament, or where issues are local, to the seats they have on Councils' is a valid idea.

Not at all. If he gave formal statements to investigators, and the public message was that was what he was doing (not revealing names to all and sundry), he would have some protection from that. It would be evidence, not gossip - he was there.

If he admitted anything, the door would be opened for people to ask 'and who else?' To reveal others would of course be the most decent thing he'd ever done in his life - but he won't understand that.

such nonsense. If people 'didn't want to be private landlords because of the tax' what would happen? Why, they'd sell the house, perhaps to someone who wanted to live in it. It wouldn't stand empty, disappear or be knocked down. It would still be a house, a dwelling, accommodation.
