#Econky this may help !
I am still interested in this topic and started reading this newish text. Does anyone have any other recommendations or course materials? This book and material in the corporate and business tax world. BTW, I think I was in Bronwyn’s first grad econometrics course that she taught at Berkeley. 😉

Teaching Econ in Sci Fi and Fantasy this term, and students get to rank their preferred books from a list of up to 12 for their Book Club (on paper!) read for the term, in groups of 5. Which ones will fill first? A thread.

📚 In summer 2023, my book Causal Analysis was published with @mitpress.bsky.social. Just two years later😉 I’m very happy to share that the lecture slides are now freely available in both PDF and LaTeX (as zip files), along with the datasets and R/Python code:

More soul 45s for the kids... Fred on Stylart via Timmion Records in Helsinki! and Thee Sacred Souls on Penrose Records. More great modern soul music for the kids.

Pulling 45s. Retro soul, neo-soul, classic soul, moody soul..who knows the label...this is just good music. Los Yesterdays on Penrose Records and Pale Jay on Karma Chief. Good stuff.

Wellesley Braham - Never Get Weary/Version - roots music from the late 70s reissued in 2023. Classic JA sounds. At one point, this is what reggae music sounded like. Classic.

Preorder Inflation (by me!) today, delivers 9/23. “Written in accessible language with plenty of practical applications of economic theory, this book will appeal to readers seeking to understand inflation and the tools used by the Federal Reserve to manage it.” – Jennifer Michaelson for Booklist.

From 2019. If you like modern soul music in the vain of Daptone or Penrose records, then this release on Timmion Records (based in Finland!) is a must. Sweet soul and funky sounds. Enjoy. I need to explore this label more.

From 2000. This came as part of a collection I bought from a collector. I missed this originally. If you like melodic pop music, Parasol is a great label to explore.

Fantastic Midwest power pop from this Iowa duo. I get a Raspberries vibe. Hard not to like this collection from the opening song (Long Way To Go). If you like power pop (even a little), you will love this collection! Kool Kat Records.

Does anyone have any reading recommendations on the history of innovation and or R&D? I am generally interested in the development of intellectual property and it would be good to get an understanding of what academia says about both. #econsky
