Digital art featuring Zooble from “The Amazing Digital Circus”. Zooble is an anthropomorphic character based on “ZoLO blocks”- a brand of mix-and-match toys from the late 80s. Zooble’s head is a hot pink triangular prism tilted downwards. Their right eye has a swirled black iris and yellow sclera with a bubblegum pink colored eyelids, while their left eye has a black iris with a white-colored sclera and a blue eyelids with 3 thin black eyelashes under it. They have mismatched, antennae-like parts on the top of their head, and mismatched limbs. This image contains a drawing I did of them on-model as well as a doodle in my own style of them looking pissed, and a doodle of Gangle looking cute (another character, whose face is a tragedy mask and body is made of red ribbon).

Like, I get it, I am deeply uncomfortable and even morally opposed to certain theming in fiction. BUT we need to grapple with the fact that trying to draw a strict like in the sand often has led to things like this…

Do we really want credit card companies or THE GOVT in charge of drawing that line?
