I haven't had a Magic card get stuck in my head like this in a long while. Help me obsess.

Thinking a microgame like Dandan, centered on this guy with lots of life as resource/sac for value cards. Burn your own wick to try and extinguish the opponent's first. Thoughts?

"Republicans' cruel crusade against trans kids" IS "ripping healthcare away." This not a diversion from the issue, it's the whole issue.

Senselessly cruel for the GOP to be so fixated on darkening the future for trans kids, and so needlessly stupid that the Dems are this useless to stop them.

I've been using LifeElk and like it a lot. Visibility is great, supports up to six players, you can pretty seamlessly add things like poison and energy trackers as they become necessary, roll dice etc.

The NYT-Schumer piece is a crystal clear example of how Democrats help shift the Overton window rightward in reaction to GOP oversteps.

Mahmoud Khalil is a lawful resident. But black-bagging dissidents is okay as long as you can accuse them of a crime first. This isn't ground you cede.

Apparently Trump has made good on his campaign pledge and is set to deport him because of his participation." Schumer: "I don’t know all the details yet. They’re trying to come out, and there’ll be a court case which will determine it. If he broke the law, he should be deported.
