A mod preview i made shows this. I had to control housing lighting a lot to make sure that all 4 subjects stood out in their own skin value range AND temperature range. Very weirdly done, but AEN looks the most stoney and undead- that’s my goal. The warmer teal of the next dress over helps clarity.
A preview image for one of my mod upscales. Raya has lighter values in skin, with a cooler overall tone, Nanaya has medium and warm tone, Qin has deep and warm, while AEN is deep and cold. However, all subjects besides AEN look alive and well, while AEN seems to both recede and pop out with their relatively cool toned skin and dull but light in value dress color. The text color also adds to this effect, being warmer than the accessories AEN wears, and their hair color. All other subject’s accessories also accent their temperature. The warm teal dress color right up against AEN’s form makes them recede in a way that I really like, while the balance of the value of AEN’s dress against their skin brings them back forward. A LOT of little decisions i make that don’t really make sense but do at the same time. Most don’t notice that at all though.

I thought i saw a cat girl cosplayer with big puffy white hair sitting on a bench outside talking with someone standing up. It turned out to be a huge white fluffy dog sitting on the ground in front of the bench.
