Met a small flock of Pine Grosbeaks on the weekend. The males are red, and the females are this gorgeous gold/bronze colour. Bird guides often say “yellow” but that doesn’t work for these beauties #birds 🌿

i’ve read some real garbage slop writing scifi over the years. This has to be one of the worst! Actively fails the bechdel test. Women exist only for men to be horny about in this star trek world. Written with a teenage boy understanding of love and sex.

My biggest gripe is when trash pickup is missed. It seriously happens 1 every 5 weeks. Also if you have e-waste like damaged lithium ion batters? That's a you problem. Feels like Colorado could do something about this.

A fun feature (I think) of this Bachmann Charger is it has a crew alert - if you just let it run with no input for 30 seconds it sounds an alar, and if you STILL don’t do anything it activates the emergency brake (and the beacon flashes!)
