At the 2025 Beetle Champs in Bristol, Sunstroke performed well reaching the quarter finals stage and losing to the ultimate runner up on a close judges decision, after doing some nice chopping up beforehand. The robot was also fun to drive around, big improvement from the old build from the summer 👍

The world's deadliest tape deck is pretty much rebuilt for its next event later this month in Bristol. Featuring more powerful drive motors, more powerful speed controllers, a stronger chassis and sharper teeth on the discs 👍

Cody started learning to play wheelchair basketball in his senior year at high school, and has since gone on to be quite the hot shot in his college team! It has done wonders for his mood.

It has been six years since I last did a model sheet of my character… the colours are still the same but the shirt pattern has changed slightly since 2019 ^^.

Back from Ferry Fair this evening, giving Yippee-Ki-Yote a few fights with an improved lifter clutch, which neve let me down once :) the smaller robots were also very popular with the crowd, Plucky being particularly popular with the kids who got to drive him ^^

Robot Rebellion day 2! Sprocket Raccoon fought a good fight and went out in the round of 16 against a tough opponent! Certainly learning what needs to be done to improve my 3d printing but everything otherwise still works :)
