Gorgeous sight on the way in to work this morning, since I was driving in at sunrise and not an hour before. Since I was driving I didn’t stop to take a photo, but I felt inspired to paint a watercolor when I get home. Did this doodle at my desk so I don’t forget.

Here’s a progress pic. I used water soluble interfacing. This lets me draw or print a design and easily transfer it to the fabric, and it holds the knitted (therefore stretchy,) fabric in place so the stitching doesn’t warp the material. I embroidered on the inside front of the shirt.

I found this t-shirt on the free table at Bubonicon, and I can see how it ended up there. I don’t want to walk around with a transphobic billboard on my boobs either. But, this was a good quality shirt in my size! I’m thankful that someone left it on the table instead of throwing it away.
The same black speckled t-shirt turned right side out. In lavender cursive letters it says “wingarium leviosa”

My latest embroidery finish! I meant to have this done before the equinox, but what can you do.

A brown basilisk lizard we saw near our cabin. I did see one juvenile running on water in the river, but of course it was too fast to get a photo of.
