Just finished Assorted Crisis Events #6, I hope everyone is reading this fine comic book. @denizcamp.bsky.social has constructed a marvellous framework that nails our nebulous sense of becoming unmoored in chaos and chrono-shock, using this to tell stories of ordinary people in extraordinary times.

As we've all been talking about Bond today, why not enjoy the opening page of Ian Fleming's classic, "Goldfinger"?

With Ace Frehley passing, I've been listening to and thinking about Kiss a lot this week. And also realising my first ever gig was 42 years ago (!) yesterday, October 27th 1983 at the Glasgow Apollo! My Dad drove me, waited and drove me home after the show. I was 14, remember every bit of it.

Paying tribute to the great Ace Frehley this weekend.

How many people have shit for brains?

Just little rivulets of poo running out of their ears, because of all the shit they have for brains?

A rank smell coming from their heads, because they are full of shit?

Etc.

Anyone else watching The Chair Company? Absolute catnip for me. Tim Robinson ably portraying the everyman's feeble hubris and the seething rage bubbling inside absolutely every one one of us, as we all pretend everything is normal. Doesn't forget to be funny either.

Who’s your favourite recurring (that is not part of the regular cast but kept showing up) sitcom character?

Very sad to hear about the passing of Ace Frehley, my very first guitar hero. I was obsessed with Kiss when I was a kid, I play a Les Paul because Frehley did. The greatest guitarist? No, but he still became an icon and a rock legend who brought a lot of joy to legions of fans. Go well, Spaceman.
