I am a bit saddened that with the western animation sphere being as it is right now, we probably wont have a super long running, creator driven cartoon like this again in a long while.

Only got Ending A so far, but yeah I can sympathise, though I still enjoyed it. I suppose I tried to contextualise is with Hinako internal state, as in her becoming more and more tortured. Certainly would have liked a less is more approach though with the amount of enemies

Actually Husks Japanese VA happened to be there too today! Didn’t get to talk to him, but saw some other fans do. Nice little surprise~

It’s honestly my favourite fever dream kind of experience and so evocative! Hits with tense truly uncomfortable imagery, while always keeping moving and building the characters. Despite being such a short experience theres lots of nuance found in this cute (not you Jimmy) PS1 looking folks.

His chimera form was my first time doing a monster design for SH, so I brought my Bloodborne concept art book to work and asked the director on a scale of one to “The One Reborn” how icky should the design be? He squinted at me and was like “Lets keep it at one”. Still made him a little icky though!
