That is truly good to hear! It's never easy as a Creative Being... but as long as the art is flowing, there's always reason for hope!

Truly sorry to hear you've been on the rocky road for a while. But always happy to know that you've been successfully chasing the Muse! I hope everyone in your system is hanging in there...

I don't get online much, I guess... I tend to fall back into my natural ways of puttering alone on my projects most hours of the day. But I'm glad you're here and hope all is well in your world! You're right, it's been a long bit slipping through the time glass!

Heartiest birthday wishes to you! I hope it was a day filled to the brim with all your favorite people, wee beasties, flavors and all other things!

I hope you enjoy it! There's also a 5 part manga available in English for 'Strange Houses' (called 'The Strange House'). Part 5 should be released early next year. And a 2023 film which is either called the same or perhaps 'The Floor Plan', but I haven't found a copy on disc for myself yet, alas.

Thank ya! It was actually Friday, but I just finished reading these and wanted to mention them... really enjoyed them! I believe there may be another in the works called 'Strange Buildings'...

Exactly! I know a lot of folk get stuck in the idea that they have to know what the artist was thinking, but I tell people all the time that with my art, it's okay to interpret it any way they like! That's part of the journey.

Had to pause and look at all the wonderful details of this!

I've had a nearly lifelong affection for Japan (starting in my toddler years from an Auntie's collection of Japanese artifacts). I'll likely never see it for myself because life isn't fair, so I enjoy vicariously whatever others share online. Your photos plus descriptions would be very welcome!

I agree... Artists are sponges and we absorb all sorts of potential influences from all of our experiences that could turn up in a personally transformed way in some of our work unexpectedly... even decades later! It's kind of a superhero power, I think!

I love that this has just a touch of the Erté style in it. Not assuming that it was intentional, just enjoying the juxtaposition...

You're more than welcome! I really enjoyed your book and hope that you find much success!
