Are there any examples of government shaping software markets by buying one of the key providers in the space? Feels like it could be a good shortcut to fixing broken markets.

I’ve taught people to use the GitHub web interface for this kind of thing. There’s still a bit of a learning curve but it’s not too bad. Can also set up review apps on Heroku or similar if they want to see previews.

I’m still amazed by the newer types of velcro which seem super strong and yet the hooks are microscopic and don’t feel scratchy at all. As seen on Apple watch straps or disposable nappies.
