I'm less concerned about whether or not a piece of media fits nicely into a little box determined by its namesake. Way too many people are getting caught up on whether or not Prime 4 is proper "Metroid" and making themselves miserable in the process. Is the game good on its own terms?

I finally had a chance to sit and actually play Metroid 4 and its incredible. Really makes me wonder where the bulk of the criticism is coming from and I'm starting to feel like its simply because people don't care about the elements of a game, that make it a game.

Joking aside, Prime 4 is actually quite good and I'm very relieved. I wonder where the general consensus will fall and how much of the games reputation will be influenced by the conversation prior to its release. Also, once again, I loved Other M and my favorite in the franchise is Fusion sooooo.

Playing Metroid Prime 4. Seems like Metroid Prime. Not sure what everyone's so mad about. There's even this friendly looking new character... hold the fort.

Despite having a very visceral, initial reaction to the talking characters in Metroid Prime 4 I'm actually very much looking forward to it. You might not know this, but I've long been a defender of Other M. You never know where my allegiances lie and I love to keep people guessing. He he he.
