Yes you do…

Setting up a false debate is the only way to launder her ideas

Any Democrat who doesn't support immediately packing the court should be run out of office at the first opportunity.
November 24, 2025 at 6:46 PM
Yes, you fucking dullard.

We should approach racists in good faith and invite them to vote for a non-racist platform.

What other path forward is there?
November 23, 2025 at 2:56 PM
Jesus you’re stupid
November 23, 2025 at 2:51 PM
You’re embarrassing yourself.
November 23, 2025 at 2:50 PM
lol if you're just gonna internalize fascist talking points to the degree you don't think we should have our own counter vision, than just end it brother.
November 23, 2025 at 4:21 AM
The fucking talking points write themselves man. Jeff Bezos has one hundred fucking billion dollars, and there are hungry children. What are we even doing here?
November 23, 2025 at 4:18 AM
So, Fox News has a parallel information ecosystem. What are you gonna do about it? Nothing! You cannot end Fox News so what the fuck does it matter what they're going to say?

Again, look at Mamdani. If you're earnest and you stay on message you can hit Fox News and more than hold your own.
November 23, 2025 at 4:17 AM
Yes! These voters are half way there! They love the program they just don't understand it.

Stop being so patronizing to these people. Run earnestly and in good faith on these programs and let the fact that people know Medicare is great be an advantage.
November 23, 2025 at 4:15 AM
You're laying out the argument piece by piece for why identity politics is a dead fucking end electorally. Thank you!

This is exactly my point. Reframing this issue as "Jeff Bezos' tax dollars should be paying for black AND white people's food stamps" is the only way forward.
November 23, 2025 at 4:12 AM
Universal policies are INHERENTLY distributive and antiracist.

Advocating for these policies isn't "courting" racist votes, or suggesting we "be more racist" as an electoral strategy.

If the campaign principle is "equality and universality" and a racist guy votes for that... good? Isn't that good?
November 23, 2025 at 3:53 AM
where? what are you talking about?
November 23, 2025 at 3:45 AM
and what do you fucking know, it blew up in their face like Acme dynamite!
November 23, 2025 at 3:42 AM
U sure about that?

Instead of forging their own immigration policy, Labour basically kept what they inherited from Tories. In an explicit effort to win the mythical "swing voter" concerned about immigration.

The same nonsense the Dems tried with the "we agree with Trump's border plan" stunt vote
November 23, 2025 at 3:41 AM
Centrism: not even once.

When the suggestion of universal social welfare programs immediately leads to accusations of sitting with Nazis, you might have brain worms.
November 23, 2025 at 3:29 AM
What a clown you are. A walking internet cliche.

Just doing a Godwin’s law mic drop, epic.
November 23, 2025 at 3:26 AM
You keep dodging the root question here:

What are we supposed to do with these racist people you insist will make my universal programs bad and racist?

Also, in your universe where we shouldn’t have universal programs… aren’t the racist people making the non-universal programs racist too?
November 23, 2025 at 3:24 AM
OK, but even by your own admission this isn’t a substantial percentage of the coalition.

“We can’t do class politics because some people are racist, and that will force us to be racist too?”
November 23, 2025 at 3:22 AM
Identity politics means what dickless wonder up here is doing, suggesting that any time someone mentions using a class-based message that you're somehow dog whistling to racists or for racist support.
November 23, 2025 at 2:54 AM
aren't you the guy hyperventilating over Mamdani and the red/brown alliance?
November 23, 2025 at 2:53 AM
Look at Mamdani. You cannot in good faith say that he ran a campaign that condoned racism, or bigotry, in any form.

Yet he very clearly eschewed falling into the trap of nonsense identity politics.
November 23, 2025 at 2:49 AM
What, exactly, do you think should happen to these racist voters?

Do you think they can be actively converted to not being racist by the government?

I for one don't think that's really possible. You can lead a horse to water but you can't make it drink.
November 23, 2025 at 2:45 AM
Just a complete encapsulation of your identity politics brainrot.

If class-based political arguments can convince racist person to vote in favor policies that unequivocally deliver distributive outcomes (e.g. universal healthcare), isn't that a good thing?
November 23, 2025 at 2:42 AM
The whole fucking point of not doing identity politics is not doing identity politics.

Right now the GOP's answer to "why has real wage growth stagnated since 1979" is "immigrants took your shit".

Dems just tried to run on the "nobody took your shit" platform, how'd that work out for us?
