Generic Octoling can choke. Splatoon has so many cool named characters. I was half-tempted to pick Marina, because she’s also a named octoling character, but the Splatoon 3 Deep Cut gang has more relevance. Shiver, an octoling, can be an alternate costume.

#7: Rick, from Kirby

I can’t confirm, but I truly believe that Sakurai hates Bandana Waddle Dee’s popularity more than anything. I think part of the reason he worked so hard on Kirby Air Riders was to see which character the ravenous Nintendo fans would devour next, and Rick provided the buffet

Raven Beak stocks were so high up until the Metroid Prime 4 Trailer dropped. I bet ninety-five percent of people who want Sylux in Smash never played the game he’s originally from. He's making me take a hot bird man off of the list. I hate him

He’s Sakurai’s special little boy, always getting cut at the last second. Imagine if he had Inkling’s roll in the trailer, finally invited, the heralded newcomer. A tear rolls down his cheek. Waluigi tears at the skin on his arms until they bleed
