in college I did a work study that involved combining digital and traditional techniques, where i made "assets" digitally and transfered the ink-jet prints of them onto paper or board and painted around/with them. That's smth I feel like I would like to revisit one day tbh!

for my tastes as well, i feel like I have not found a digital brush that has ever accurately looked or felt like a real ass brush and paint or canvas. which is good for some things and not for others! they fulfill different niches and artistic needs for me personally
