the response is also just a flat out refusal despite how overwhelmingly obvious it is ~ this doesnt mention anything else such as the lack of heraldry or the nonsense armour ect. This is only taking ownership for allowing awful art unrepresentative of the story anyway, all besides the ai stuff.

100% agree! This is what I use

I liked the bright sword overall, but this encapilates its weaknesses; Grossman saying this on his blog seems to me self-defeating - It's a folly to write with an assumption of audiences wants. My favourite movie is a slow film about a japanese toilet cleaner.

Four books to get to know me; i reallyyy wanted to put the matter of seggri by Le Guin on here but thats a novelette never published in a stand alone book so... also i didnt just want to repeat between two fires (hollow by B. Catling mearly made it on here too, but i reference baru so much)

Picked this up via the strength of it's cover alone and its been fantastic so far - and to my surprise when i got home i realised why the authors name felt so familiar: her 'Our share of night' is on my physical tbr shelf!

- From 'Hard to be a God' (1964), by Arkady & Boris Strugatsky / Distressingly familiar enough to make me pause the book and take a great sigh

Oh this gets worse! Their advice for short story writing is pure dogshit. Esp 1. I read a lot of Short Stories and rarely ever do they begin with action esp in horror
And then needing a likable character and a twist.... What? Why?

New manga and a new tarot deck!
These may seem pretty disparate, but they sum up the two kind of stories i write most, plus the spirituality is pretty similar (the druids pushing their minds out into the world in the visage/body of woodland animals is basicly old timey cyber-diving)

Look at this thing!! It doesnt help hes wearing the same pajamas as my main childhood teddy bear - its like hes wearing his skin or masquerading as something hes not

found this line a ttrpg review, and its a good review, but i found it funny because like yah, character death is 100% a source of fun for me if im playing a charcater i want to see them die brutaly thats cool! (and pretty unique to ttrpgs)

Been playing Joyride: Next Gen with my gf: amazing game, simple but lots of strategy, and very roleplayey - the first person character boards, the shifting gears and amanging speed vs control, my gf reversing over a checkpoint and then driving forward over the finishing line to win the game lmao.

I had to google what it looked like and...seesh this looks like some bushcraft knife, im sure its a great tool but it seems a pretty obvious bit of personal responsibility to like put it in a bag at least

Lost in Starlight is a great movie! A heartwarming romance mixed with a tense space exploration with pretty animation and a stellar soundtrack - it's crazy how netflix didn't advertise this like...at all.
July 26, 2025 at 9:27 PM
Picked these two up recently! The slow knife specifically just seems soo up my street
