And on that topic, I wonder what it would take for the creation of a National Cup on the women's side, where the L1 winners can have a chance to play NSL sides in a Cup knockout competition. Do you know of plans for this? All the supporters groups I've talked to want to see it happen.

I'm started to get worried now that we don't have enough NSL teams! There are some talented players on the benches and in League 1 who might be looking for opportunities.

If Canada soccer is spending money to tell the Canada soccer story, they could give some of it to the League 1 clubs that are best positioned to do that themselves. That would be a decent investment that grows the game.
