My issue is when that narrative is bolted onto an existing game, and then everyone lauds its ‘depth and resonance’. To me, it seems exploitative, icky and disingenuous.

Fortunately, managed to get my doc to send through an emergency supply after only one day, so probably only experienced nocebo effects.

Well isn’t that just the same as ‘therapy speak’? Everyone is ‘gaslit’ rather than merely lied to, but that doesn’t remove the existence of gaslighting as a real thing.

I don’t understand why so many folks are saying ‘Lol, AI is the new NFTs!’ when I’m aware of so many industries incorporating it into workflows *now*. Once it’s there they aren’t going to say ‘ha, only kidding!’

Will everyone be wandering around talking to their really lifelike AI butler? Probably not (for various reasons). Will your doctor be using an AI system to help diagnose you? Almost certainly. Will the world be filled with shit AI art and novels? Yup!
