Just thinking too, if one wants to watch Turtles going back to feudal Japan from 1993, the 1987 actually had a better attempt in "The Legend of Koji", where they actually have it tie into the history of the Foot Clan, one of the better episodes of the show's later seasons.

One of the more disappointing aspects is while the film does bring back Elias Koteas, his Casey Jones is regulated to a dumb subplot (and clearly didn't film these scenes with the Turtles) and spends most of the movie as a supposed ancestor Whit who doesn't have anything interesting going for him.

HFS animals running wild in cinema, Zootopia 2 has already made $916 Million worldwide. Wouldn't shock me if it's going to eclipse Live-Action Lilo & Stitch during the week, Ne Zha 2 remains to be seen. deadline.com/2025/12/zoot...

Critic reception be damned, general audiences are interested in further horrors with Freddie Fazbear. Zootopia 2 does drop a bit, TBF week 1 did have the benefit of a holiday & it's still making good bank, Wicked: For Good however might end up not outgrossing the first: deadline.com/2025/12/box-...
