Yes I know. They have all the guns. And the biggest economy. But we run a trade deficit with them. We don’t need them. Just tell them to take their spy bases, gun obsession, non-existent subs, fundamentalist religion and creatively exhausted pop culture and play with themselves. The USA is over.

Might be building the structure into their model for the future.
Other countries have been talking about it.
Bluesky wasn't even included in the sites to be restricted by this ridiculous law. They're complying and taking ID purely for funsies.
v1.111 is live today!

We've upgraded our Age Assurance system to comply with upcoming laws in Australia and other regions, and to restore access to people over 18 in Mississippi.

Plus, we fixed some bugs and laid the groundwork for improved "who to follow" suggestions in the near future.

Why is the US-ingratiating Australian media so ready to assume that ‘full-steam ahead’ on #AUKUS is good news? Australians never voted for this. We abhor Trump and despise US aggression. Let’s vote for the party that rips up this ruinous pact and destroys the fascist defence lobby pushing this BS.

Note how the Kennedy Center ribbons are blue, instead of the traditional rainbow colors. Because the Trump administration never gets too preoccupied with its racism to overlook its homophobia.

The problem is not the pardon power. The problem is us. We weren't supposed to elect a crook as POTUS. If we did, the people we elected in Congress are supposed to do something about it. We're idiots, so we've elected crooks & cowards all the way up the line.

The problem is us. We need to fix us.
Giving the president the pardon power was a mistake. The most corrupt president in American history is conducting a jailbreak for his fellow criminals.

If someone stays up all night posting on social media with anger, while ignoring their well being. I would say they are declining mentality and need an intervention before mental illness sets in.
Maybe if he eased up on rage posting in the middle of the night he might stay awake during cabinet meetings.

Tassie, take note.
Have confirmed the AFL is finalising an early termination on the lease for People First Stadium, which those in the industry expect will cost millions of dollars. Suns will still play there, but AFL will no longer operate the venue.

NDIS is hard to navigate for a client.
They won't fund anything without evidence and minimise scope of funding. Often a client gets funding for easy items, like mowing, and not for life changing programs to improve their outcomes.
A now you have to talk to an AI. FFS.

I'm afraid this is very unsurprising, they have done this in the past.
Horrible.

Down the track I won't be surprised of the US linking trade with trans rights.
Going to be interesting to see how many g20 countries tell them to get stuffed
A new US aid agreement would require countries to share data on abortion needed to "monitor compliance” with the Helms Amendment, which prevents U.S. federal funds from being paying for abortion abroad.

Trump Wants to Make African Countries Share Abortion Data to Get AIDS Funding
An aid agreement template would require countries to share vast amounts of health data, including on abortion, to get PEPFAR funds.

And the Liberals did it too.
This is why govt is slow and expensive. The wrong people for management. It's bad enough having ministers.
I've worked hard with all non-govt senators to secure release of the Briggs review.

Now it's clear why the Albanese Govt was hiding it for two years.

They are refusing to implement recommendations designed to ensure we have merit-based appointments 🤯

I am a bit disturbed 6-7 year old are using social media. For me, teens are fine using it. It's an outlet where they can be themselves with others. Instead of isolation.
Why this country is not placing programs in schools to teach them about usage is beyond me. I suppose banning is cheaper
ABC's kids news show BTN surveyed 17,000 9-16 year olds about the social media ban:

- 70% said they think it's a bad idea
- 72% said they don't think it'll work
- of those with social media accounts, 75% said they plan to keep using it
- 190 said they were 67 (6-7) years old

In 2003, a candidate for a local election in Belgium received 4096 additional votes as an event of a single event upset. In 2008, a Qantas Airlines flight suddenly entered a ‘pitch-down’ manoeuvre at 38000 feet – similar to the story in the recent news, due to solar particles.

If a white man did it, it would be a mental issue. The man "snapped", has PTSD from a war zone.
Not a white man, it's a cultural thing. They're not like us peaceful, law loving people.
The guy shot two random people with a gun, I don't think you can say he wasn't assimilating into our culture
Stephen Miller is now arguing that assimilation is fundamentally impossible and that certain cultures are not compatible with Western civilization

When the US took over Iraq , they expected their and UK oil companies to divide the spoils. It's the reason why they went in, to control oil prices.
Except the new govt of Iraq told them to get stuffed.
Have a feeling Venezuela is going to be the same. The companies will be kicked out over time.

on this logic all the alleged rapists could be sacked without notice. So as to you know cut off their income based on “serious” allegations. Oddly nobody is proposing that employed rapists be punished without a guilty plea or guilty verdict.
