The thing about trying to get the blood off of one's hands is, as Lady MacBeth taught us, that bloodstains have a transmissible quality but not a transmutable or expungable quality. That is, you might give others the same stain you bear but in the process you can't change or eliminate your stain.

If AI is the get out of jail free card for big money — all fault is the ai’s judgement and that can be fixed or replaced — then of course all the moneys will be spent making it work and making sure it is generally accepted (not laughed at).
