A lot of us also at least from experience have a ‘furry commission budget’ when I was working regularly I made sure to set money aside so I could commission artists
It’s less that the fandom is wealthy but sometimes a lot of us budget for commissions

This fandom has a reputation for being "suspiciously wealthy" but the truth is most furries just love and value art and people so much that they want to use their money for art and supporting artists so they can make a living doing what they love. It's a cycle of genuine passion I think.

That's the thing with dopamine being tied to task initiation - there's a set of gears that won't - CAN'T - engage in my brain, but none of my problems are with analysis.
I can be fully aware of all the necessary steps, and stressing about starting, and just... not.

NHS staff with an acceptable collateral damage quota and by pure chance it’s all trans people and mostly children
I sometimes have chats with NHS managers about how to “restore trust” and it’s amazing how poorly they react to the suggestion that people who harm patients should lose their jobs.
