Continuing to chew on pros/cons of ending the shut down. Pretty sure GOP never would have caved. Regardless of viewpoint, THE TIMING WAS AWFUL! Not while SNAP payments were awaiting final ruling. Not while majority of DEM base wanted to continue. Not immediately after election success.

I do agree with the @indivisible.org strategy: Primary like Hell, to get what we want out of our party, then Unite like Hell behind whoever wins the various primaries.

I have so many feelings about the shut down of the shut down. There is no end to the things to worry about. But one of those things is the damage the DEMs did to themselves. Their base is, rightly or wrongly, *enraged.* This, we do not need. At all.

I kinda want businesses to have a certification possibility: "No AI!" in the way food is certified non-GMO. In other words, options for those of us becoming more and more against it every day.

Burning question re: authenticator apps. I get point of using authenticator app on my phone to get a 2FA code to log into an account on my laptop. But what is point of logging into an account *on my phone*, and then using that *same device* to receive a 2FA code? What am I missing?

If Dems win the Supreme Court races in Pennsylvania in 9 days, it’s extremely likely the GOP can’t get a majority on that court until 2029.
