Per Alex Meruelo, the Roadrunners will be moving to Phoenix. This absolutely sucks for Tucson. They have a thriving hockey culture and some of the most dedicated fans I know. Roadrunners games are unique and special, and it sucks they are losing their team.

Alex Meruelo owns a casino and did not care about the fanbase. I feel you extend this to all gambling outfits, which is why it is great they are so ingrained in sports right now

On the way back from tonight's game I was wearing a Coyotes shirt behind a guy in an A's cap in line at the gas station. If QT pulls the footage they can get a great 2024 picture

From gathering signatures outside a library to a projector hooked up to a car in the parking lot, I feel the message from the start of my time covering the Coyotes to the end is the same. Sometimes the fans have to do it themselves.

The final 16 seconds of the Coyotes game had no commentary. Just the sound of the fans cheer on their team for final time. It was an incredibly bitter sweet moment, and the perfect choice

Lawson Crouse has been excellent the past three years and became a true leader. There is a reason fans thought he should be named Captain. It is great to see him score in the last Mullett game

Right across from Mullett Arena you have the ASU Desert Arboretum Park. It has a seating area and is currently empty. They could have planned out and had something official here

The team didn't organize anything so 150-200 fans showed up to watch the final game together. They were told they couldn't watch by the arena so moved across the street to a parking lot
