Had Trump not ignored a week-old court order to withdraw the troops from DC, no one would have been shot and all the members of the WV guard would have been home sor Thanksgiving.

Please keep in mind that the guard in DC did not participate in any of the ICE actions there.
They mostly just walked around in crowded, public spaces and sometimes cleaned things or planted flowers.

It seems like most Republicans will vote for any republican just to stop a Democrat from being elected.
They keep accepting things from their candidates that they wouldn't have accepted previously. It ends up looking like they have no principals because they all get compromised eventually.
