In the gangster world of Putin, Trump and trolls, Canada is a threat because we are a democratic nation.

🧵 Some post-election thoughts:
1. I said the race would narrow in the last week and it did. I said the battleground was Ontario and it was. The CPC did better in Ontario than many expected and the ads helped. That likely stopped a Liberal majority. #cdnpoli #canpoli

Canadians will vote tomorrow in the most emotional election since 1988. I have my own preference. But I note: no one doubts that the vote will be free and fair - or that the loser will peacefully accept the voters' decision. That may not sound much. It's more than others have.

At the Rebel News merch page you can buy an "I stand with Trump" t-shirt for $38.95

That's $5.29 more than you as an individual Canadian pay yearly for the entire CBC / Radio-Canada budget.

I'm gonna go with the public broadcasting, thanks

Study “debunks the myth that economic inequality is an inevitable & automatic result of technological & demographic changes.
On the contrary, …human decisions—how wealth is shared, how govt is set up, & how people decide to organize themselves—play a fundamental part in shaping social outcomes.”
🧪
A massive study of 50,000 households over 1,000 archaeological sites provides ample evidence that inequality is not a "natural" outgrowth of sophistication. Instead, it is a political choice. Which means, kids, that we don't have to choose it.

Just... stop. You cannot defend saying that Canada is an 'artificial' country. It took shape long before you were born. It was a radical idea at the time to meld two cultures in one entity, respecting each others' institutions and histories. There is always room for improvement, of course.

In Trump's America cruelty is the point. And nothing is more cruel than the abuse of children.
In US courts migrant children as young as 4 are being put on trial without legal representation and subject to arbitrary deportation.
