Blue days,
All of them gone.
Nothing but blue skies
From now on.
Hey. . . don't forget beer! 😉

It is a tragic situation, but I do agree with you that Trump is partly to blame. Sending untrained and inexperienced individuals into an urban environment to do police work is a perfect setup for getting someone hurt or killed.

Not surprising since he's working for the Saudi's now.

I love the smell of onions and mustard in the morning!

Definitely shows where his priorities are.

Perhaps we should call the new construction the blight house.

Unfortunately, Maga "Christians" seem unable to recognized the devil when he's looking them in the eye.

Agree. The politicization of religion by the Republican Party has driven away more souls from the church than have all the Satan-worshipers, atheists and Liberals combined.

The US gives about 3.8 billion per year to Israel. It just gave 20 billion to Argentina and 28 billion a year to ICE. So I think there are other important issues burdening Americans,

When Trump defecates on Americans protesting (as in his recent video), is he not defecating on Christian values?
October 22, 2025 at 5:18 AM
Here's one thing I don't understand about Christian Nationalism. If the US was indeed founded as a Christian nation, doesn't it follow that the foundational documents of our country, such as the Constitution, would have been based on Christian values? 1/2

One expert on authoritarianism recently said: You know you are living in an authoritarian state if you have to keep telling yourself why you are safe.
October 8, 2025 at 10:25 PM
This is our Reichtag moment. . . a fabricated crime of left wing violence is used an excuse for an authoritarian takeover.
October 8, 2025 at 10:22 PM
Imagine if the Post covered crime like this: A clash occurred between two citizens. There was a disagreement about whether one should hand over his money while the other was pointing a gun at his chest.

The way Bezos and most of the billionaires caved to Trump is one of the many good reasons why people shouldn't be allowed to accumulate this type of wealth. People who do are typically greedy, rapacious, sociopathic, and cowardly. This makes them prime targets for the autocrat.

It is profoundly outrageous, but within character: corrupting government for partisan reasons.

The horror. . . the horror!

I know the constitution says that government will make no law abridging the freedom of speech. . . however, using the FCC to lean on a corporation and coerce them to supress speech the government doesn't like has exactly the same effect.

I'll quote you on that one!

Always thought of them as court eunuchs (but jesters works too).

Quite true. . .and we might need a bigger jail.

I found this open letter from a billionaire to the people of Texas:

"As one who got Trump elected, I wanted to express my appreciation. I'm really enjoying my new yacht and looking forward to more tax breaks. Hey... sorry about your kids, but with all the fun I'm having it's worth it."

Yes. . . the Emoluments Clause--in the Constitution!
