Two days of ‘father abraham’ in my head is two too many. Maybe someday someone will find the reason for how a random song gets stuck in your head. I certainly didn’t choose this one (I hate it) and I knowingly haven’t heard it for ~20 years.

Perhaps add some pine nuts with the peppers or arugula pesto, or something earthy. Otherwise, should be delicious.

At least it was on a convenient utensil (toothpick) and could eaten standing up. The worst are the cocktail party foods that are drippy with sauce, not one bite, or require a fork/plate and none are available. And yeah, you’re going away hungry :/

Finnish has one gender neutral pronoun (no levels of familiarity). So many languages opt for they as singular and plural as a a pronoun.

My employer spent lots of money to pick a logo and a unique color palette, one of the colors was ’snow white’. it’s just #FFFFFF - white, it’s just that.

Omg, that slide deck is a crime. The more I look the angrier I get, and I’m not a Dr. but it’s clear how dangerous this is. So many questions about this around ‘why are these ppl allowed up on stage?’ I just have to stop looking before my critical reasoning skills go poof.

Somehow this reminds me of when my company used a media firm to come up with a new logo. The consultants picked snow white as one of the colors. They literally just renamed the hex for white (#FFFFFF) and got paid lots of money (and the logo could have been drawn by a kid)

The neighborhood is fairly connected with neighbors knowing neighbors. Years ago residents there understood immigrants could feel isolated and have been working to break that down, shame to see this terrorizing happening that destroys the community building.

This was predictable. He tweeted until very late last night and had an early morning. Even a teenager would tell you that’s irresponsible and they would take a nap during math class too.
