I suspect OC will need several names as these sorts of lawyers often fire (or get fired by) competent ethics counsel. They just don't seem to be able to take good advice.

Serious question: Is the attorney mentally ill? It seems unlikely given how long this has gone on, but I cannot fathom this level of misconduct.

Closing my office and going to work for The Man was a great decision for me. For most lawyers (but not me 🙁) it would be a cut in pay, but the lifestyle difference was amazing.

My in person swearing is quite blasphemous, so I try to keep it toned down online. It's not like it would be hard to figure out who I am IRL and I doubt my boss's boss's boss (my great grand boss) would be pleased.
