Last year, I finally realized that I could, indeed, hang a wreath on my front door, so I bought that artificial wreath on sale after Christmas. All I did this year was wrap some ribbon around it sloppily, but I might have the energy to do something nicer next year.

I bought these decorations when I first moved to New Mexico. The wreath means a lot to me because my family would decorate gingerbread men for Christmas every year, and we would always decorate a few as skeletons. I was at a wreath auction; other folks there let me win after I told them that story.

I just helped my parents decorate their house for Christmas, and I stole this pink Peruvian pig to hang on my own tree. Neither one of them could remember where it came from, so it had no sentimental value for them.
