Now, did I preemptively jump to "it's AI"? Yeah maybe it's just a filter. But I've seen "AI upscale" services that make the image look similar to what I saw in the default gallery app. Granted it's not the generative and that's an important distinction, but I'd still like the option to turn it off

Anyway I'm using Fossify Gallery as my alternative rn. Interface is a bit wonky if you're used to the default app but it's a good free substitute with no ads. I'm exploring it more and I'm open to other suggestions
