Speaking of different logos, when the film came out in VHS there was a special collector’s edition with fancy faux holographic packaging, but what was weird/interesting is that it used the TOS movie typeface

I don’t know if it was on this video, but this came free with a paper and had a making of with a look at ILM’s work. It had an explanation of the way they created the nexus ribbon with CG, and the filming of the D crash, using music from Star Trek V. It also had a different logo on the front.
