sinpit halloween was such fun. loved using esp32 + wled to make a sexy little light up outfit. we also managed to break into cruz defying street-long queues

espresso machine was not pouring. narrowed it down to a blocked metal filter bowl thing. tried the usual to unblock it (vinegar soak etc.), no dice. put it on the hob for 30 seconds and the steam inside, between exit and entrance holes, forced out the stuck bits. win 🏆

Key replacement of a Yamaha CVP-207 Clavinova from 2001 - the thought that went into this design is incredible! Two hidden screws to remove the top panel, four to remove digital panel, intuitive key removal and replacement (they pretty much just slide on and off when the keyboard is removed). 🎹 ❤️

Maiden voyage of the world’s crappest trailer actually went really well and only required one adjustment (moving from a single pivot (triangle) to a dual pivot to stop oscillations)

Janked together an animated LED protest sign using one of the brill DMG1083 driver boards from @eta.st. I was buzzing to bring it to protests.
Ended up accidentally blasting 30V right through the 5V LED panel. RIP LED sign. Back to cardboard.
Next project - microsoldering LED panel controllers.
