It was supposed to catch those infants whose mothers fell through the prenatal testing cracks. For moms testing neg or low risk situations, don't see the reason for current panic. Used to be just for high risk - medical/1st resp, etc. Pro vax too, but this freak out is why people question science.

Now we have to afraid of everyone everywhere possibly shedding and children catching it from toilet seats? I abs. believe RFK and MAHA are misinformed nutjobs but the panic just seems...a bit much. What am I missing? 2/2

Not anti vax so don't jump on me. But please explain how Hep B vax went from those at high risk of exposure - 1st responders, medical staff, wastewater tmt plant ops, foreign travel - to everyone at birth? Traveled to Asia in mid-90's and got Hep A, yellow fever jabs per guidance, not Hep B. 1/

Our economy is about to crash, so jobs will be lost anyway. Americans have had it too easy for so long we don't know what real suffering is. Fascism is going to be a rude wake up call if we don't get off our phones long enough to see what's happening and take action now.

The actionable task before us now is to focus on turnout in the now weakened red districts that were diluted to create the new gerrymandered districts. Voters need to SHOW UP en masse to flip some of the once solid red districts blue.

Or a reduction in school shootings by installing classroom locks/bulletproof glass/security stuff. Heaven forbid we actually address the real issues around drug use, crime and school murders.

My Irish, Lithuanian, and Ukrainian great grandparents went through some shit to get here, and had many hard times just trying to survive once here. I'm willing to bet many "white bread" anti-immigrant Americans have similar stories in their family history, conveniently forgotten. Shame on them.
