They voted for this for trans migrants in detention, and trans kids and their healthcare providers, and trans children who just wanted to play sports with their friends, so this really is what they voted for. They wanted us to have a -$11 trillion kind of life

Never in my decade of filing FOIA requests have I gotten a response like this. Customs and Border Protection denies my request, saying "Due to law enforcement sensitivities we can neither confirm nor deny the existence of records." No exemption cited, no name of who wrote this.

Not sure what part of “do not comply in advance” they don’t understand but there is a major disconnect we need to address. Elected officials who ignore the voice of the people AND the expertise of scholars who have dedicated their lives to studying how to fight fascism need to step down.
