I think I did it! Now to finish it out with another row!
I *was* following a pattern at first, but not everyone is good at writing patterns 😬 I ended up using it more like a guide for how to manipulate the stitch sizes to surround the diamond without changing the shape too much

I’ve been working and fixing this pattern for the last couple of hours based on a design I found online
1st picture is the round as written (yikes), then my first attempt to preserve the diamond shape around the eye. In a few more tries I should figure out this puzzle🧩

I’m tired so I had to lean against the wall and I put the scarf on backwards but isn’t it so pretty? Even before blocking the drape is so lovely and warm
