I would say that as well as experience any candidates for office should have robust psychological profiling to weed out those without empathy or with certain pathologies and/or behavioural traits including at the very least, the ‘dark triad’ of narcissism, psychopathy and machiavellianism.

Khan insulted him publicly before his visit and is a Muslim that Trump knows deep down is way smarter than him. It makes him insecure so predictably he’s going after him.

Thankfully those at the UN know this.
