Voted for Trump but mad at “the government” is exactly how this will all be memory-holed.

Just go to help chat and tell them you want to return any Neil Gaiman books you have. I didn’t even have to list the titles. Zero questions asked, they just returned the 3 books I had and issued me credits.
Just a heads up for peeps, if you bought a Neil Gaiman audiobook from Audible, they are allowing refunds for them with no questions asked and no matter how long ago you bought them. I don’t even have an active subscription and they gave me credits back for two titles purchased in 2020.

One of the best recent tech innovations: the app reminding me that I haven't attached the thing to the email that I said I am attaching.

Same.
i'm old enough to remember finger wagging and warnings about inflammatory overreach by scholars describing Israel with the term "settler colonialism"

In fairness, a sexual predator as AG would find himself perfectly at home with the Rapist in Chief.
BREAKING: Attorney for teenager at the center of Matt Gaetz sex trafficking allegations says "She was a high school student and there were witnesses." Calls upon Ethics Committee to release it's report which Miami Herald/McClatchy sources say is "highly damaging."

Good point, Texans.
genuinely, like

Dems with asshole GOP senators who never take your calls, there’s never been a better time to dust off your high school acting class chops and pretend to be a concerned Republican who has totally legit Republican reasons why they should reject these nominees

Well, this is a fun read. Also, I’d vote for the Star Wars cantina.
"Trump is naming a cadre of unqualified sycophants to staff the federal agencies, safe in the knowledge that his GOP allies will cede their constitutional authority to him and 3 justices will suddenly discover that recess appointments are very cool and very legal after all."
Trump demands Senate recess so he can install Star Wars cantina
And Republicans are all too eager.

This just keeps getting better.
BREAKING NEWS:

Donald Trump has offered Elise Stefanik, the woman who ran for her life on January 6 and then called insurrections “patriots,”the job as U.S. ambassador to the United Nations.

She is a traitor and this is ridiculous.

It would certainly affect me and many colleagues, students, and friends. And even if it didn’t affect me, even if it doesn’t affect you, do we want a government where rights can be yanked back at will? Because I don’t.
Stephen Miller in an interview this past week talked about mass deportations including naturalized citizens. Unlike the magical thinking among Trump voters that such plans never pertain to them - I am aware 'deporting naturalized citizens' is a plan that would include me, and many of my students
I think people (as with most policies) underestimate how many people abolishing birthright citizenship would affect.

For example, it would affect me and my siblings. It could also affect my kids, depending on specifics. It would affect the majority (not an exaggeration) of my students.

This. Exactly this.
I don't understand the idea that we have to have hope that things will improve, or faith in humanity, in order to keep on fighting. We keep fighting not because we think it may all work out but because, without our efforts, it will undoubtedly get even worse for the most vulnerable amongst us.
