Why do so many prominent Brexiteers live in France? Nigel Lawson; Andrew Neil; and former Brexit Party & UKIP MEP David Coburn. Asked to account for himself in the Nathan Gill story it turns out he lives in a French chateau. The brazen hypocrisy of this lot is just staggering!

Carney still troubled by the abuse she received after her #lufc remarks in 2020. Saw so much abuse which was disgraceful and in some cases criminal. Her comments were daft but reaction went too far and definitely powered by misogyny

Although Aaronson does a lot of good stuff in most of our matches, we won’t win games playing Aaronson. It seems Farke can’t understand that and so I’m afraid he needs to go #lufc

Radiohead magnificent tonight and definitely the most animated I’ve seen Thom in about 20 years. So much joy in the O2 and so very special to see my kids singing along to almost every word

Running Man remake is great fun. Stephen King wrote the book in the 70s and remarkable just how prescient he was in terms of reality TV and media truth. Great Q&A too with Mark Kermode interviewing director Edgar Wright with anecdotes about meeting King and Schwarzenegger #runningmanmovie #BFI

Awful day in Sussex by the sea. Now seen 4 defeats in 6 matches and the lack of creativity is killing us. Also a proven fact that Brendan cannot play well for two games running #lufc

Ahh look, he’s just a ‘nerdy’ guy. No harm done.

🧵 Not everything's lost in Germany's East. A li'l local election story from Saxony:

Neschwitz, a town near Bautzen, needed a mayor. There was only one candidate - from the far-right AfD. But a provision in Saxon local election law allows voters to add a name to the ballot. Any name.
